Description

You will require this permit if you intend to attach, place or remove street furniture, goods or any permanent or semi-permanent structure or sign on a road, council land, verandah, wall, awning, or between buildings.

Street furniture means any:

  • chair
  • table
  • bench
  • umbrella
  • planter box
  • barricade or like furniture
  • sandwich board
  • bunting
  • banner
  • barrier
  • flag
  • or similar object.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this permit you must hold a current public liability insurance policy with a minimum of $10 million cover.
