National Standards for Commercial Vessels - Victoria

Description

You will be required to comply with these standards if you intend to undertake any of the following activities:

  • Design a domestic commercial vessel
  • Construct a domestic commercial vessel
  • Crew a domestic commercial vessel
  • Survey a domestic commercial vessel
  • Operate a domestic commercial vessel.

A commercial vessel is a vessel which is used in the course of any business or commercial transaction. The National Standards for Commercial Vessels is progressively being introduced to replace the Uniform Shipping Laws Code.
