Registration of a Caravan Park - Victoria

Description

You will require this registration if you intend to operate a caravan park or mobile home park, either on private or municipal land.

For the purposes of this registration, a caravan park is an area of land on which moveable dwellings are situated for occupation on a short or long-term basis, and where communal bathroom and public areas are provided for residents.

Ongoing Eligibility Requirements

To continue this registration you must undertake the duties as required of the operator of a caravan park, including ensuring all maintenance and repairs are completed.

The caravan park premises, operation and buildings must comply with all state and national codes of practice.

As indicated on the permit.

Expiry

This registration will need to be renewed by the end of every two or three calendar years, depending on the permit issued.
