AS / NZS 1747:2003 Reeling, Trailing and Feeder Cables Used for Mining - Repair, Testing and Fitting of Accessories - Western Australia


You will need to comply with this standard if you are the manager or employer at a mine and you intend to use any trailing cable or reeling cable. Your trailing cable or reeling cable must be repaired and tested in accordance with this standard.

This standard sets out requirements for the repair and testing of reeling, trailing and feeder cables used in underground coal mines, metalliferous mines, open cut mines, quarries and dredges. It also sets out requirements for the fitting of accessories to these cables.
