Australian New Zealand Standard AS / NZS 3000 Electrical Installations - Western Australia

Description

You will be required to comply with this standard if you are a manager or employer at a mine which is installing cables underground.

The version of this standard you will be required to comply with is AS / NZS 3000.2007. This standard is also known as the Australian Wiring Rules.

You must ensure that all electrical installations and equipment at your mine comply with this Standard. In particular any low voltage or high voltage cables installed in the ground at your mine must be installed in accordance with this standard.

This standard sets out the minimum requirements for the design, construction and testing of electrical installations, including the selection and installation of electrical equipment forming part of such electrical installations.
