Description

You will be required to comply with this standard if you intend to construct, extend or alter a public building or place where 1,000 or more people may assemble for religious, entertainment, recreational or sporting purposes. You must provide a risk-management plan that has been developed in accordance with this standard.

This code sets out an acceptable standard of risk-management. Risk-management involves planning how to prevent potential risks from causing harm. Compliance with this code is necessary to ensure that your risk-management plan is to an acceptable standard.
