Australian New Zealand Standards for Eye Protectors - Western Australia

Description

You must comply with these standards if anybody at your workplace is required to use eye protectors.

These standards set out minimum requirements for eye protectors and associated lenses and filters. You must ensure that any eye protectors provided in your workplace comply with these standards.

The versions of the standards you must comply with are:

  • AS / NZS 1337:1992 / Amdt 2:1997 Eye protectors for industrial applications; and
  • AS / NZS 1338.1:1992 / Amdt 1:1994 Filters for eye protectors Filters for protection against radiation generated in welding and allied operations.
