Australian Standard 1668 Part 2 - Mechanical Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality - Western Australia

Description

You will be required to comply with this standard if you are the occupier of a public building and intend to use a mechanical ventilation system.

This standard is referred to as AS 1668.2-2002: The use of ventilation and air conditioning in buildings - Ventilation design for indoor air contaminant control. This standard specifies design requirements for natural ventilation systems and mechanical air-handling systems that ventilate enclosed spaces.

Compliance with this standard ensures that all mechanical ventilation systems adequately prevent buildup of air contaminants.
