Australian Design Rule ADR 3 - Seats and Seat Anchorages - Western Australia

Description

You will need to comply with this rule if you are the principal employer of, or manager at, a mine.

You will need to ensure that every vehicle used at your mine is fitted with seats and seat anchorages which comply with Australian Design Rules.

The rules specify requirements for seats, their attachment assemblies, their installation and any head restraint fitted, to minimise the possibility of occupant injury due to forces acting on the seat as a result of vehicle impact.
