Australian Design Rule ADR 3 - Seats and Seat Anchorages - Western Australia

Description

You will be required to comply with these rules if you are the manager of a mine, or the principal employer at a mine. You must ensure that every vehicle used at your mine is fitted with seats and seat achorages which comply with the third edition of these design rules.

These rules specify requirements for seats, their attachment assemblies, their installation and any head restraint fitted to minimise the possibility of occupant injury due to forces acting on the seat as a result of vehicle impact.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance (if any) that may be required.
