Australian New Zealand Standard AS / NZS 2802 Electric Cables - Reeling and Trailing for Mining and General Use (Other Than Underground Coal Mining) - Western Australia


You will need to comply with this standard if you are the manager or employer at a mine (other than an underground coal mine) and you intend to use any trailing cable or reeling cable. Your trailing cable or reeling cable must conform to this standard.

This standard specifies requirements for two classes of multicore elastomer insulated and sheathed flexible reeling and trailing cables for surface mining, underground mining (other than coal mining) and general use, where movable plant requires electricity supply at system voltages from 1.1 / 1.1 kilovolts up to and including 33 / 33 kilovolts.
