You will need to comply with this standard if you are:
- the principal employer at, or the manager of, a mine and intend to undertake construction work at the mine
- the manager of, or an employer at, a mine and intend to carry out work in a confined space at the mine.
This standard sets out the requirements and risk control measures for ensuring the safety of those who must enter or carry out tasks associated with a confined space.
