You will need to comply with this standard if you are a responsible person at a mine and intend to install electrical installations and equipment, including items of plant and any low or high voltage cables installed in the ground at the mine.
This standard sets out requirements for the design, construction and verification of electrical installations, including the selection and installation of electrical equipment forming part of such electrical installations.
