You will need to comply with this standard if you are an employer, main contractor or self-employed person, a person in control of the workplace or a person controlling access to the workplace and intend to construct or install a lift.

This standard recommends safe working provisions and practices (supported by training) for those responsible for, and involved in, new lift installations and new construction.
