AS / NZS 7000:2016 Overhead Line Design - Western Australia


You will need to comply with this standard if you are the employer or manager at a mine with overhead powerlines.

You must ensure that any high voltage overhead powerlines at your mine are designed and constructed in accordance with this standard. This standard provides general requirements for the design and construction of new overhead lines to ensure that the line is suitable for its intended purposes and provides acceptable levels of safety for construction, maintenance and operation and meets requirements for environmental standards.

This standard is only applicable to new overhead lines and is not applicable retrospectively.
