Australian Standard AS 1033.2 - 1988 High Voltage Fuses (for Rated Voltages Exceeding 1000V) - Current Limiting (Powder Filled) Type - Western Australia

You must comply with this standard if you are an electricity network operator or electrical contractor and intend to design, construct, commission, operate, maintain or decommission an electricity network.

This standard specifies requirements for all types of high voltage current-limiting (powder-filled) fuses designed for use outdoors or indoors on alternating current systems of 50 hertz and 60 hertz and of rated voltages exceeding 1000 volts. Fuses provided with fuse-links equipped with an indicating device or a striker come within the scope of this standard, but the correct operation of the striker in combination with the tripping device of a switch is outside the scope of this standard. This standard does not cover expulsion and similar type fuses or the application of high voltage fuses.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance that may be required by your business.
