Australian Standard AS 1271-2003: Safety Valves, Other Valves, Liquid Level Gauges and Other Fittings for Boilers and Unfired Pressure Vessels - Western Australia


You will need to comply with this standard if you intend to design, manufacture, import or supply a boiler for use at a mine. You must ensure that the boiler is designed, constructed and tested in accordance with this standard, or with AS 1228.

This standard specifies the requirements for the design, construction and testing of valves for use on boilers and unfired pressure vessels, and their associated piping.
