Australian Standard AS 1801:1997 - Occupational Protective Helmets - Western Australia

Description

You will need to comply with this standard if you are the manager of a mine, or the principal employer at a mine. You must ensure that any construction work is undertaken in accordance with this standard.

This standard sets out the requirements for three types of protective helmets reflecting their intended use. It deals with construction of the helmet shell and helmet finish and includes methods of tests.
