AS 2397 Safe Use of Lasers in the Building and Construction Industry - Western Australia

Description

You will need to comply with this standard if you are an employer, main contractor or self-employed person and intend to use lasers or laser products at a construction site.

This standard sets out safety requirements for the use of lasers in the building and construction industry. Provision has been made for the use of Class 3B (Restricted) lasers where the level of illumination is appropriate. It is intended for use as a reference by persons concerned with the use of lasers for alignment, levelling, control and survey tasks in the building and construction industry, and supplements the requirements of AS 2211 relevant to work in that industry.
