Australian Standard AS 3600-1988 Concrete Structures - Western Australia


You will be required to comply with this standard if you intend to construct or design a precast concrete septic tank. You must use concrete that is mixed from materials complying with this standard, AS 2758.1-1985 or AS 1379-1973.

This standard sets out minimum requirements for the design and construction of concrete structures and members which contain reinforcing steel, or tendons, or both. It also sets out minimum requirements for plain concrete pedestals and footings.
