AS 3637.3 Underground Mining - Winding Suspension Equipment - Rope Cappings - Western Australia

Description

You will need to comply with this standard if you are a responsible person at a mine and intend to erect a winding system for the transportation of persons, materials or rock.

This standard specifies requirements for rope cappings used in the suspension of conveyances and balance ropes in vertical shafts and slope haulage declines of underground mines. Guide and rubbing rope cappings are excluded.
