Australian Standard AS 3873-2001 Pressure Equipment - Operation and Maintenance - Western Australia


You will need to comply with this Standard if you intend to use pressure equipment at your workplace.

This includes boilers, pressure vessels and pressure piping, but does not include gas cylinders. You must ensure that any pressure equipment to which this Standard applies is operated and maintained in accordance with this standard.

This Standard specifies the minimum requirements and gives guidance on the operation and maintenance of boilers, pressure vessels, associated control and safety equipment, piping and auxiliaries (for example boiler fuel handling and firing equipment, heaters, fans, pumps, feedwater treatment and the like).
