Australian Standard AS 3920.1-1993 Assurance of Product Quality - Pressure Equipment Manufacture - Western Australia

You will need to comply with this standard if you intend to verify the design of pressure equipment.

To register the design of pressure equipment, it must be verified as complying with all applicable standards. This standard sets out the process for some of those verifications. It specifies the minimum requirements to the assessment of the conformity of boilers, pressure vessels and pressure piping.

This standard does not need to be complied with if you are registering the design of plant that is not pressure equipment.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance that may be required.
