AS 4647-2005 Domestic Diaphragm Gas Meters - Western Australia

Description

Note that this standard has been updated and you may need to meet the requirements set out in AS 4647-2011 Diaphragm gas meters.

You will need to comply with this standard if you intend to operate a gas distribution system. A gas distribution system is a system of pipelines, mains, and gas service pipes, designed to operate at a pressure of less than 1.9 megapascals, for the transportation of gas to customers.

This standard provides basic requirements for diaphragm gas meters under tender, to ensure optimum performance, both, when purchased, and after extended service; and to satisfy the requirements of statutory authorities after due consideration is given to variations in accuracies of meter testing.
