Code of Practice - Workplace Amenities and Facilities - Western Australia


You must comply with this code if you employ people at your premises.

As an employer you must provide workplace amenities for your employees. This code provides guidelines on how to comply with that duty.

Workplace amenities include quality, temperature controls, workspace, lighting, seating, washing facilities, toilets, change rooms, dining facilities, drinking water and the provision of suitable access and egress. The particular amenities you are required to provide depends on the type of workplace.
