You will need to comply with this guidance note if you are the manager of a mine and intend to assess exposure to asbestos fibers at the mine following an occurrence of asbestos contamination.

This guidance note has been developed to provide laboratories and analysts with a consistent methodology for the sampling and analysis of airborne asbestos fibres in workplaces.
