Permit to Light a Fire or Burn Material on Public Land - Shire of Wongan-Ballidu - Western Australia

Description

You will need this permit if you intend to light a fire or burn material on a thoroughfare, verge or other public land. A permit will not be issued during certain time periods of high fire risk. Please refer to the Restricted Fire Permit if you intend to light a fire during a period of high fire risk.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this permit you must ensure that:

  • The material to be burnt is unsuitable for removal by the local refuse collection service;
  • Your incinerator meets all required standards;
  • Your incinerator is located so as to comply with the requirements of any bush fire notice; and
  • Your incinerator unit does not create a nuisance and is not offensive to other persons.
