Perth Parking Bay Licence - City of Perth - Western Australia


You will require this licence if you are the owner of commercial land or a commercial building in the Perth parking management area and you intend to permit one or more vehicles to be parked on your property.

You may also require separate planning approval for your parking facilities. Parking associated exclusively with private residential use does not need to be licensed.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence you must be the owner of land or a building in the Perth parking management area.

The parking of the vehicles must be consistent with the Perth Parking Policy. To decide whether to issue this licence, the Agency will take into account the effect of the proposed parking on pedestrian traffic, vehicle traffic flow, the amenity of the environment, and the availability of public transport.

The Agency may issue a licence contrary to the Perth Parking Policy if it is reasonable to do so in the circumstances.
