Registration as an Architect - Western Australia

Description

You will require registration if you intend to carry on the practice of architecture under the title of an architect. You must not advertise yourself as an architect, practice architecture, or provide architectural services unless you are registered as an architect. You will not require this registration to carry out services relating to the design, planning or construction of buildings, provided you do not use the title of architect, or advertise your services as architectural services.

You may apply to register as either a practising or non-practising architect. Practising architects are required to have a certain level of indemnity insurance and undertake professional development to maintain their registration. • Retired
  • Academics
  • No longer living in Western Australia.

You will be entitled to registration as an architect if you are a registered architect in another State or Territory or New Zealand.
