To be eligible for the licence you must:
- demonstrate that the application is in the public interest, having regard to the likely health and social impacts on the community and sub-groups within the community
- show that the position, nature and standard of your premises are suitable
- be deemed fit and proper
- submit the required forms
- pay the prescribed fee.
For a venue to be suitable for a restaurant licence it must have a kitchen equipped to provide meals, sufficient toilet facilities and a dining area must always be set up with tables and chairs for dining.
