You will need this licence if you intend to remove asbestos.
Class A licences permit the removal or direction of removal of friable asbestos. Friable asbestos is asbestos in powder form or asbestos containing material which can be crumbled, pulverised or reduced to a powder by hand pressure when dry. This includes dust or debris that has settled within a workplace, and is, or is assumed to be, contaminated with asbestos.
Class B licences permit the removal or direction of removal of more than 10 square metres of non-friable asbestos or asbestos containing material. Non-friable asbestos refers to any asbestos containing material that is not friable, including material reinforced with a bonding compound.
