SafeWA for Businesses - Western Australia

If you are a business owner or operator in Western Australia you may need to keep a record of the contact information of staff, patrons and contractors who visit your premises for the purpose of contact tracing. It is up to the business owner to determine how they wish to collect relevant information. Potentially options include:

  • Western Australian Government's SafeWA app: provides an easy, safe and efficient digital contact register system. Use of this app is free and encouraged by Western Australian Health.
  • Paper-based register (e.g. pen and paper): suggested formats and templates are available to assist you on the 'SafeWA' website.
  • Electronic-based register (e.g. a form on a tablet at the front of your business or privately sourced alternative electronic platform or system for capturing contact details).
