Description

You may need approval before erecting or maintaining a sign on public or private land. Types of signs can include:

  • banner signs
  • hoarding signs
  • inflatable or portable signs
  • roof, wall or window signs
  • for sale or lease signs.

In some cases, you will need to submit a Development Application (DA) and / or Building Permit in addition to this approval. Requirements vary depending on your local council.

To be eligible for this permit you must provide two copies of your plans which detail the size, position, materials, design, inscription and the procedure for the installation of the sign.
