Signage Approval - Shire of Katanning - Western Australia

You may need approval before erecting or maintaining a sign on public or private land. Types of signs can include:

  • for sale or lease signs.

  • provide the council with plans, drawn to a scale of not less than 1:50 showing the size, position, design and inscription intended to be used
  • submit a certificate from a practising Structural Engineer certifying the structural integrity of a building intended to support a special pylon sign or a roof sign
  • furnish in writing any further particulars required by the Building Surveyor.
