Australian Dangerous Goods Code (ADG Code) (7th Edition) - Western Australia

Description

You are required to comply with this code when storing, handling, packing, transporting or accepting delivery of dangerous goods. Examples of dangerous goods include ammunition, grenades, detonators and fireworks. An extensive list of what products constitute dangerous goods can be obtained from the Agency, but broadly include gases, liquids and other substances that are flammable, explosive, toxic or radioactive.

The code sets out guidelines relating to the transport of explosives and radioactive materials where these goods are transported together with other dangerous goods, or where the dangerous goods have a subsidiary risk of another class. Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance that may be required.
