Australian / New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 1425:2013 LP Gas for Fuel Systems for Vehicle Engines - Western Australia

Description

You will be required to comply with this standard if you intend to use, install or modify liquid petroleum gas (LP gas) vehicle engines.

You must ensure that your vehicle mobile engine is maintained and serviced by a registered gas fitter in accordance with this standard.

This standard specifies requirements for LP gas fuel systems for engines mounted on motor vehicles, either for the propulsion of the vehicle or for driving some auxiliary function (for example a mixer or a pump). It sets out requirements for the design and construction of component parts, for their installation in vehicles, and for tests, commissioning, and periodic inspection.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance (if any) that may be required.
