Australian New Zealand Standard AS / NZS 1891 Industrial Fall-Arrest Systems and Devices - Western Australia

Description

You will be required to comply with this standard if you are the manager of a mine, or the principal employer at a mine. You must ensure that any construction work is undertaken in accordance with this standard.

The version of the standard you are required to comply with is AS/NZS 1891.1:2007. This standard specifies requirements for the materials, design, manufacture and testing of industrial safety belts and harnesses, and ancillary equipment including energy absorbers and lanyards.
