Australian New Zealand Standard AS / NZS 2878:2000 Timbers - Classification into Strength Groups - Western Australia

Description

You must comply with this standard if you are an electricity network operator or electrical contractor and intend to design, construct, commission, operate, maintain or decommission an electricity network.

This standard establishes procedures for the classification of timber species into strength groups. It specifies the unseasoned and seasoned strength groups of most of the timber species used in Australia. It is meant to assist in determining a stress grade for any graded timber you intend to use in a structure in your electricity network.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance that may be required by your business.
