Australian New Zealand Standard AS / NZS 3190 Approval and Test Specification - Residual Current Devices (Current-Operated Earth-Leakage Devices) - Western Australia

Description

You will be required to comply with this standard if you are a manager or employer at a mine. To ensure that any earth leakage protection device complies with this standard if it is provided for:

  • Alternating current circuits installed in a quarry operation, on a part of a dredge other than a floating treatment plant, and in an underground mine; or
  • Circuits providing alternating current supply to portable, mobile or moveable apparatus.

This standard specifies measures for protection against electric shock from certain types of electrical equipment.
