HB 100 - 2000 Coordination of Power and Telecommunications - Manual for the Establishment of Safe Work Practices and the Minimisation of Operational Interference between Power Systems and Paired Cable Telecommunications Systems - Western Australia

Description

You may require this standard if you are an electricity network operator or electrical contractor and intend to

  • design
  • construct
  • commission
  • operate
  • maintain
  • decommission an electricity network.

This standard gives advice on the responsibilities and accountability of office and field managers of power and telecommunication utilities for the effective and efficient coordination of the power and telecommunication systems. It gives detailed analysis of physical interactions between the systems and details of safe work practices.

Complying with this standard is not mandatory. However, if you can show that you complied with the provisions of this standard then that will be regarded as evidence that you have met your obligation to carry out electrical work safely.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance (if any) that may be required by your business.
