Model Code of Practice for the Welfare of Animals: Land Transport of Poultry - Western Australia

Description

You may be required to comply with this code if you intend to transport domestic poultry and / or other birds in Western Australia.

This code establishes the responsibilities of all people involved in the transport of poultry, including poultry producers, agents, catching crew and transport personnel. The purpose of this code is to help minimise any adverse effects of transport on birds, by ensuring they are transported to their destination as safely as possible.
