You will need this permit if you intend to do any of the following with a prohibited pest plant:

  • propagate
  • import
  • supply.

A pest plant is one that has been identified as a threat to the local environment. Confirmation of a particular plant as a pest can be made by reference to the relevant pest plant lists and management plans.
