Service summary

You may require this permit if you operate a motor vehicle dealership and intend to display vehicles for sale on the verge in front of your dealership. If the land in front of your dealership is not public land then you will not require this permit.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this permit the Agency must be satisfied that:

  • You are suitable to hold the permit;
  • The permit is for a relevant purpose;
  • The size, intended use and level of risk to the public are suitable for the land;
  • Consultation with the public has determined that there is no significant impact on the surrounding area; and
  • You have sufficient public liability insurance.
