Licence to Store Excise Equivalent Goods - Australian Government

Service summary

You will require this licence if you intend to store imported excise equivalent goods (EEGs) in a warehouse or you are an operator of one or more warehouses that undertakes this activity.  EEGs are imported goods that would be subject to excise goods if produced in Australia. This includes:

  • alcohol
  • tobacco
  • fuel and petroleum.
