Service summary

You will be required to apply for this certificate if you intend to export livestock or any other live animal overseas.

Each country that you intend to export livestock or animals to may have different requirements. It is recommended that you consult the Manual of Importing Country Requirements (MICoR) Live Animals for information relating to import practices in foreign countries.

A health certificate is required for each animal to be exported and is required prior to the application for an export permit for live animals. The certificate shows that the livestock meets the requirements of a specified importing country relating to the health of the livestock.
