You will require this licence if you intend to operate a business that provides services as a real estate agent, stock and station agent, business agent, buyer's agent or strata managing agent. Agents provide services related to the purchase, sale, auctioning, letting, leasing, management or dealing of property (premises or land), accommodation (short-term or holiday), businesses or livestock.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence, you must:

  • be 18 years old or over
  • be considered fit and proper for the purposes of the licence
  • not be a disqualified person
  • have successfully completed all necessary qualifications.
