Greyhound Owner Syndicate or Partnership Registration - New South Wales

Description

You will need this registration if you participate in the group ownership of a racing greyhound.

There are two ways you can register your group ownership:

  • Partnership: recommended for groups with 2 to 10 members. A partnership arrangement means that any associated costs with the ownership of the greyhound are split amongst members, it also means decisions relating to the greyhound must be approved by all members.
  • Syndicate: recommended for groups with 2 to 20 members. This arrangement allows you to combine resources with others and buy a greyhound under a syndicate name. Expenses are shared with other members. This type of ownership is common between friends, family and colleagues.

Please be aware that you must comply with the specified rules and your registration may be subject to conditions.
