Gasfitter Licence - NT - Australian Business Licence and Information Service

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to work as a gasfitter. Gasfitting work includes working with fuel gas systems, gas appliances, gas containers, gas pipes or anything in connection with the supply, use or distribution of fuel gas.

There are four categories of gasfitter licences:

general gasfitter
gasfitter type B - appliance
provisional gasfitter
auto gasfitter.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible, you must possess all relevant qualifications and experience for your licence category.
