Gaming Machine Licence - Northern Territory

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to install gaming machines in your premises and are:

  • a club, public hotel or tavern liquor licence holder
  • a transferee of an approved liquor licence
  • an applicant for a relevant liquor licence.

You can apply for a liquor licence and a gaming machine licence at the same time.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible you must:

  • prepare a Community Impact Analysis (CIA) - refer to Department website for guidelines
  • prepare a business plan
  • submit neat, accurately scaled plan of the premises to which the application relates, indicating the locations of the proposed gaming machines
  • obtain and provide a criminal history check
  • provide an affidavit disclosing influential or benefiting parties
  • provide documents showing you lease, own or have a contract to buy the premises
  • advertise your application.
