Driving Instructor Endorsement - Northern Territory

Description

You will need this endorsement if you intend to work as a driving instructor. Driving instructors teach other people to drive a motor vehicle in return for payment.

You can apply for a driving instructor endorsement for light and/or heavy vehicles.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible, you must:

  • have held the relevant class of licence for a continuous period of three years
  • hold a Certificate IV in transport and logistics - car driving instruction / heavy vehicle driving instruction
  • submit a completed medical assessment of fitness to drive
  • hold a current Northern Territory driver's licence
  • have a National Police Certificate.
