Service summary

All teachers who teach children in Government or registered Non-Government pre-primary, primary or secondary schools, must be registered with the Teachers Registration Board.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.




Registration fee (for up to three years): $355 including a compulsory $25 Criminal History Record Check fee.

Assessment fee: $120.

Cheque, Money Order, VISA, Mastercard or EFTPOS.

Additional information

Where an applicant holds overseas teaching qualifications, an 'Application for Assessment of Qualifications' must be submitted prior to an "Application for Teacher Registration".
